I have just recently reduced my antipsychotic medication with the approval of the treating doctor. It’s finally happened! After waiting for over a year to do this reduction, I am now successfully transitioning towards being on the lower dose.
By the advice of a friend I was re-introduced to the teachings of Jost Sauer. I had two of his books on my shelf that I had had for nearly fifteen years, just sitting there waiting for me to read them. After talking with my friend, I decided to venture into the first book, and learnt all about the daily chi flow cycle and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The Perfect Day Plan, and the follow up, Clock On To Health, by Jost Sauer have been the final piece of the puzzle I have been putting together about understanding mental illness and mental health.
After my twenty year journey through numerous psychotic episodes and hospitilisation, and hitting rock bottom, and then making the necessary and fundamental change to get off the drugs, and to move towards mental health and freedom through the last ten years, I have finally completed my view of how to heal from severe psychosis, psychiatric disorders, drug addiction, and trauma.
Along the way I have understood many things about mental illness that I am wanting to share with the world, though this final piece of the puzzle, of how to utilise the flow of the day according to chi patterns was everything I needed to completely understand the journey from illness to health.
Jost Sauer was not knew to me. I actually found his books and teaching when I was going through the rollercoaster ride of addiction and psychosis. I had a coaching session with him at this time. This was in my early twenties. I read Drug Repair That Works, as I genuinely wanted help with what I was going through. Though I just wasn’t ready then.
I am ready now to hear his message and the importance of using the day to create and achieve your life purpose. It was the perfect timing to hear what he teaches about Traditional Chinese Medicine. I was fully able to absorb and implement all the changes he suggests in his books.
For a long time I followed the teachings of Paul Chek, which helped me immensely to change my diet to all certified organic foods, and to begin exercise. I have also been doing daily meditation and emotional healing, and also working through the trauma I had been through. Paul Chek guided me towards mental health and healing for about five years, and now Jost Sauer has brought me to a whole new level of understanding about how to heal and how to create good mental, physical and spiritual health.
This is the next phase for me now.
I have journeyed through the psychotic stage, to the stage of the psychic, and am now moving towards the stage of the mystic in terms of how I understand my gifts of sensitivity and navigating the otherworldly.
I am preparing to guide others towards these three stages of healing and understanding through the coaching I am doing. I’m currently in the marketing phase of my business, starting to get out there in the world as a mental health coach, and I am looking to work with people who have been through all types of mental illness.
Along my journey, I had to go through a time of understanding mental illness from every angle. I have attained the complete view now, with everything I have been through, and everything I have learned about what people go through in the various stages of psychological disintegration, psychotic episodes, heightened sensitivity, drug addiction, repressed emotions, relationships not working, severe illness in the mind, physical illness, and spiritual illness. I can now help others to come to healing through being able to move towards integration of their psychological type, how to traverse and successfully move through psychotic episodes, how to manage and navigate heightened sensitivity, how to heal from drug addictions and move towards sobriety, how to heal emotionally, how to have successful and fulfilling relationships, how to heal deep trauma and help the mind, body and soul to heal, and how to achieve and attain wholeness within and within the world.
Of course I don’t know everything there is to know about healing mental illness for everyone! Which is why I like the idea of helping people out with community support in mind. A specialist can only specialise in a certain topic, and the path towards health is incredibly complex and should be tailored towards the individual. And a part of what I like to do in coaching is to help people create that support network of professionals and gurus so they can create their own healing journey.
Each person is unique, and each person’s healing journey is unique to them.
I feel now I have a complete picture of how to heal mental illness, and how that can overlay for the people I am coaching.
I feel excited! Everything is coming together very well for me now, and venturing forth with creating a successful coaching business for people with mental illness is just over the horizon.
